Depending on how you count, Donald has been produced in at least 10 major variations with many dozens more minor variations of each. Multiple patent numbers, stem colors, hat colors, paint styles and mold details add up to produce one of the most interesting dispensers available for those collectors who enjoy seeking out unique variations.

Spike from the Tom and Jerry cartoon series shown with an unusual green-head variation. This dispenser was produced in the early to mid 1980s and is commonly found with a medium to dark brown head. The unusual green head version shown here is hard to find and can sell for as much as 10x - 20x the value of the common version.
