PIF the Dog is a premium dispenser.

Dispenser Information

PIF was offered as a premium in a German "YPS" comic in 1989. His name, PIF, is printed on his left ear on the head of the dispenser.

Based on

Based on PIF the Dog from the German comic book YPS, which ran for over 1,000 issues from 1975 until 2000. Loosely based on the French Pif Gadget, YPS was highly popular, due to the toy gimmick wrapped with every issue.

Prior to being featured in the German comic, PIF le chien ("PIF the dog in French") was a dog character created by José Cabrero Arnal in the 1960's and featured in a French magazine.
