Feet started appearing in the early 1980's. Before then, dispensers had no feet and would fall over.

There are three types of feet: thin, normal and thick feet.

Thin feet were the first types of feet added to dispensers.

Thin feet started to appear on 3.9 patent stems and are limited to this patent number.

All stem colors could have thin feet.
