Darth Vader is one of the "bad guys" in the Star Wars saga. Once a Jedi like Obi-Wan Kenobi and Yoda, he turned to the dark side of the Force and joined the Galactic Empire, ruled by Emperor Palpatine. He is responsible for the construction of the Death Star.
