Origin

Feet started appearing at the bottom of Pez dispensers in the mid- to late 1980's, about 1987. Before then, dispensers had no feet and would fall over easily when placed upright.

Variations

There are three types of feet: thin, normal feet and thick feet.

Thin feet were the first types of feet to be added to dispensers. Thick feet then began to appear. Eventually, the thickness of the foot was standardized into what is now considered to be normal feet.
