Thin feet is a variation of the feet at the base of a Pez dispenser
Information About Thin Feet
Origin
Feet started appearing at the bottom of Pez dispensers in the mid- to late 1980's, about 1987. Before then, dispensers had no feet and would fall over easily when placed upright.
Variations
In addition to no feet dispensers, Pez can be found with three types of feet: thin, normal feet and thick feet.
Thin feet were the first types of feet to be added to dispensers. Thick feet then began to appear. Eventually, the thickness of the foot was standardized into what is now considered to be normal feet.

In the mid- to late 1980's.
Patents & Countries
Thin feet mostly appear on 3.9 patent stems. They can occasionally be found on 3.4 patent stems, but not on any other patent numbers.
Countries that produced Pez dispensers with thin feet include Austria, China, Hong Kong, Hungary, Jugoslavia and Yugoslavia.
Stems
All stem colors could have thin feet.
